Why “grace and peace, Meg”

Hey you, I hope that as you enter this space and read the posts and letters I send out that you always leave encouraged, inspired, and motivated. I pray that you leave with more hope and peace than you came in with. I pray that God’s grace always meets you where you are.

Philippians 1:2 “Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” In the books of the Bible that Paul wrote, they were all written in the form of a letter… and in many, if not all of them, he would open them with the statement “grace and peace to you”… So originally I just decided to use that as my instagram handle. It was really a reminder for myself to only post things that gave the grace and peace of Jesus to those around me, but it has slowly turned into so much more than that.

I hope that you stick around to read all of what I share on here! I plan to share whatever God is teaching me and whatever I feel is helpful. I follow many Christ-like “influencer” moms on instagram or youtube and it is so nice to have them. I am thankful for their wisdom and for their recommendations! One of the first blogs I want to write is about going through labor, things you need, how to pray through it, and so much more. I know not everyone has a Jesus following friend or example, and I hope to be able to be that for whoever the Lord brings here. I love having my in person coffee dates with my girls (you know who you are), and I hope that this will in some way feel like that. A space to come as you are, drink a good cup of coffee, and leave encouraged and inspired.

I am so glad you came here today and I hope you stick around!

Grace and peace to ya,

Meg
